Obituary of Clarence Hankins

Clarence "Hank" Hankins, age 75, of Pikeville, died,  June 1, 2018.  He was a United States Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam, War. He worked over 30 years at Crossville Rubber Products. Hank was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed spending time fishing with his grandkids at the head of the valley.

  He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Hankins; parents, Charlie and Dora Hankins; and brother, Earl "Red" Hankins.

 He is survived by children, Mitchell (Cherry) Hankins, Charlie (Joanna) Hankins; grandchildren, Kyler, Katelynn, Kimberlee, Bradley (Michayla), Brent, Savanna, and Austin; great-granddaughter, Anna, all of Pikeville; siblings, Betty Lentz, Pikeville, Claude "Cotton" Hankins, Crossville, TN, Mary McCarver, Dunlap, TN, Joann Essex, Pikeville, Rachel Kerley, Pikeville; sister-in-law Carlene Hankins, Pikeville; and several nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services will be held Monday, June 4, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Warren Kerley officiating. Burial will be in McDowell Cemetery.  Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. CDT and Monday from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. CDT.
