Opal Aviene Lockhart Jackson, 83, of Jasper, TN, passed away peacefully in her home on
The daughter of the late James L. "Sandy" and Lillie Layne Lockhart, Opal was also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Jackson, and daughter Debbie Jackson.
Opal leaves her sons, Robert Lockhart, of Jasper, TN, Clarence Gwynn Jackson, of Whitwell, TN, and Billy Jackson, of Jasper TN; daughter Athena Jackson, of Jasper, TN; grandchildren, Shannon (Brandon) Smith, of New Hope, TN, Jessica Jackson, of Chattanooga, TN, Michelle (Justin) Clepper, of South Pittsburg, TN, Elizabeth (Jarrod) Jones, and William Kyle Jackson, of Whitwell, TN; great grandson, Colton Jackson; sister Paulette Boggs, of Sequatchie, TN; brothers Joel Lockhart, of Chattanooga, TN, and Larry (Cindy) Lockhart, of Whitwell, TN, and several nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 12, at
