Obituary of Pauline Lamb Smith
Pauline “Polly Bill” Lamb Smith, age 99, of Dunlap, TN, died Friday, April 20, 2018. She was a long time member of The Dunlap Baptist Church and a 28 year Mary Kay Cosmetic Consultant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben W. (Bill) Smith; two sons, Jack Benny Smith and Larry Dennis Smith; two daughters, Sue Murphy and DiAnne Smith; grandson, W. Lyn Smith; parents, J. C. Lamb and Octa McCulley Lamb; two brothers, Tommy Standifer and James Standifer.
She is survived by daughter, Joan (Glyn) Wilson, Signal Mtn.; granddaughter, Marsha Smith, Whitwell, TN; two grandsons, Lamar (Wendy) Smith, Florida and Brandon (Heather) Wilson, Signal Mtn.; great-grandson, William Wilson, Signal Mtn.; two great-granddaughters, Meredith Wilson and Claire Wilson, both of Signal Mtn.; sister, Margaret Sue Brown, Manchester, TN; two brothers, Edd (Dorothy) Standifer, Whitwell and Leonard (Olena) Standifer, Dunlap; daughter-in-law, Jane Smith, Whitwell; son-in-law, Calvin J. Murphy, Dunlap; special friends, Muriel & Sherri Sims, Anna Faye Heard, Jeanette Hartman, Donna Bone, Patty Harvey, Shirley Smith and Melba Spain.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Rankin Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Sunday 10:00 am CDT until time of service.
