Obituary of Charles Leonard Long
Charles “Spot” Long, age 82, of Cartwright Community, TN, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at his home. He served in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Violet Long; sisters, Daisy Murphy, Priscilla Kendrick, Eddie Green and Pauline Foster; brothers, Carl and James Long.
He is survived by two daughters, Karol Hamilton, Dunlap, and Tammy Johnson, Dunlap; three grandchildren, Kaylan (Brandon) Earnshaw, Daniel Hamilton, and Jessica Bunch; sister, Callie Green, Whitwell; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Condra Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Tuesday 2:00-8:00 p.m. CDT.
