Obituary of Cecil Lee Barnes
Cecil Lee Barnes, age 81, of Spencer, TN passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Flora Bernice Barnes; son, Johnny Cecil Barnes; grandson, Noah Dodson; sisters, Geneva Singleton and Mary Barnes; brothers, John Thomas Barnes, Jimmy Ray Barnes, Herbert Joe Barnes and Alvin Barnes.
He is survived by his current wife, Louise Whitmire; four children, sons, James (Rhonda) Barnes of Bon Air Mtn., Sparta and Richard (Leona) Hampton of Crossville, TN and daughters, Vivian (Ronnie) Dodson of Spencer, TN and Pamela (Virgil) Singleton of Dunlap, TN; step-daughter, Janie (Sam) Kennedy of Dunlap, TN; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Ellen Barnett and brother, Allen Nicholes Bridgett, both of Whitwell, TN; and sister-in-law, Willene Barnes of Dunlap, TN.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. CDT at Mooneyham Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Sullivan. Burial will be in Mooneyham Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be at Mooneyham Freewill Baptist Church on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
