Obituary of Randel L. Hurd
Randel L. Hurd, age 70, of Pikeville, TN died January 31, 2018. He was of the Baptist faith and was an United States Marine Corp veteran serving three tours in Vietnam. He was also a member of the VFW and the IBEW. He was a retired lineman with TVA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Willie Dyer Hurd.
He is survived by his son, Randy Hurd of Crossville, TN; daughters, Melissa (Paco) Aunez of FL and Amanda (Michael) Carter of GA; grandson, Mason Hurd; sisters, Diane Harvey of Dunlap, TN and Susie Winningham of North Carolina; and brother, Steve Hurd of North Carolina.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ray Dotson officiating. Burial will be in Pikeville Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. CST.
