Obituary of Donald Thomas Brophy
~~Donald T. Brophy, age 68, of Dayton, Tennessee, died Saturday, December 2, 2017 at his home.
He was a veteran in the United States Army where he served in the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Brophy, Jr. and Clare Brophy; and brother, James Brophy, III.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Glenn) Mullinax of Etowah, TN; son, Richard Johnson of Chattanooga, TN; three grandchildren, Dakota Bailey, Erik Mullinax and Oliver Johnson; sister, Colleen Brophy of Naples, FL; and brother, John Brophy of Naples, FL.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. CDT at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. The arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Pikeville, TN.
