Obituary of James Waymon McDaniel, Sr.
~~James Waymon McDaniel, Sr., age 76, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017. He was a blessed preacher and a member of Thans Chapel Independent Church. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his wives, Ruth and Diane McDaniel; daughter, Christel McDaniel; sons, Jamie, Maurice, and Eugene McDaniel; sister, Deborah McDaniel; parents, Claude and Bertha Louise McDaniel.
He is survived by his two daughters, Sharon (Jeff) Stoker, Chickamauga, GA and Emily R. McDaniel, Chattanooga; two sons, Billy Joe (Tasha) and James D. McDaniel, both of Dunlap; three sisters, Mary Richardson, Chattanooga, Doris (Cecil) Barns, Dunlap and Charlotte (Clifford) Dishman, Dunlap; three brothers, Raymond (Vinnie), Dunlap, Jerry (Melissa) and Claude McDaniel, Whitwell; he will be forever missed by his four children, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2017, 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Freddy Savage officiating. Burial will be in Thans Chapel Cemetery.
