          Shirley Ann Green, 77 of Whitwell, TN passed away peacefully at her home on September 21, 2017.

          Visitation will be held at Reed Funeral Home in Whitwell, TN on Saturday September 23 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Chris Long officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill cemetery. Reed Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.

          Shirley was born in Jackson, Kentucky to Jack and Dora Turner on November 6, 1939. She attended Breathitt County High School in Jackson, Kentucky. She was of the Methodist faith for 40+ years and a member of Greens Chapel Methodist Church.

          Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Dora Turner; One brother Paul Turner; and sister, Wanda Koziel and Marcella Jordan both of Chicago, IL.

          Shirley is survived by her loving and devoted husband Willie Earl "Bill" Green of 58 years; one sister, Dee Vaca of Chicago, IL; one brother Bobby Turner of Louisville, KY; four daughters, Teresa Simmons of Chattanooga, Donna Greene of Ooltewah, Susan Jacks of Harrison, Janet Hackworth of Whitwell; and one son Clarence Alan Green of
Whitwell. She had 5 grandchildren and a newborn great-grandson.
