Obituary of Rachel J Watson

   Rachel J. Watson, age 79, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Monday, August 21, 2017.  She was a member of the Church of Christ at Pikeville.  She was a member of The Sunshine Ladies Club in Van Buren County.  She was retired from the Tennessee Division of Forestry.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Watson; her parents, James Thomas and Irene Walling; brothers, Billy and Henry Earl Walling and; sister, Mattie Guy.
   She is survived by her children, Janice (David) Mercer, Charles (Roxy) Watson, Mary Jane Watson and Clayton Watson, all of Pikeville, TN; grandchildren, Chris (Helaine) Mercer, Carrie Mercer (David) Samons, Tiffany Watson (Jimmy) Patmor, Bryan Watson, Casey Troglin, Jason (Ashley) Troglin, Matthew (Jamie) Watson and Cody Watson; fourteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Tommy Walling of Bone Cave, TN, Johnny Walling of Spencer, TN and Eddie (Gloria) Walling of McMinnville, TN; sisters, Mary Bell Flatt of Spencer, TN,  Betty J. Hopkins of McMinnville, TN, Beatrice (Willie) Hopkins of Viola, TN, Anna Mae (Donnie) Frizell of Morrison, TN, Lorene Watson of Pikeville, TN, Patty Myers of McMinnville, TN, Brenda Walling of McMinnville, TN, Yvonna Rutledge of Morrison, TN and Liz Walling of Smithville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. T.A. Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Walling Cemetery.  Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.  The arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Pikeville, TN.  Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. CDT and Thursday from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m..
