Jimmy Worley, 80, of Whitwell, TN, died on Saturday, August 5, 2017, in a local hospital.  A veteran of the United States Air Force and retiree of Mueller, Jimmy was a  member of the VFW and Foreign Legion and a talented mechanic, who was always working on a project.  Jimmy was a musician and an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting, fishing, and spending time at his cabin on the lake.

     Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Herman Albert          " Karo" and Fleeta Olive Merriman Worley; brothers, Randall and Craig Worley, and sister, Effaye McWhirter.

     Jimmy leaves Helen, his wife of 38 years; daughter, Dana Worley; son, Dale Worley; grandson, Jason Worley; stepchildren, J.D. (Cindy) and Roger Young (Melody), and Tina Short; sister, Brenda Rutledge (Luke); grandchildren, Jeremy, Christina, Nikki, Kayla, Emily, Jacob, Rachel, Cy,  and several nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.

     Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel,  Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. CDT, with Rev. Christine Grace officiating.  Burial will follow at Noon CDT, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.  Military Honors will be provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.

    Funeral services entrusted to Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN.
