Obituary of James Edward Roberson
East Ridge
James E. "Jim" Roberson, 69, of East Ridge, and formerly of Whitwell, TN, died in a local hospital on Monday, July 31, 2017. Jim was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas E. and Dorothy Lee Griffith Roberson; sister, Virginia Jo Moore, and brothers Tommy and Wayne Roberson.
Jim leaves his daughter, Bridget Jones (Lotchia); grandson, Karsten Jones; sister, Deborah Roberson; brother, Donald Roberson (Emma), and several nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. CDT, from the chapel of Reed Funeral Home, with Bro. Jerry Massey officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. CDT prior to the service.
