Obituary of Norma Carole Everett
~~ Norma Carole (Newby) Everett, age 75, of Dayton, Tennessee, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, May 27, 2017. She was proud to be a Shriner Lady for 41 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Waverly Robert Newby, Sr.; mother, Katherine Louise (Walling) Newby; and brother, W.R. "Bob" Newby, Jr..
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 46 years, Ralph W. Everett; sons, Thomas Robert (Cindy) McGhee of Wolf Creek, TN and Rolland Charles (Mary) McGhee of Spring City, TN; daughters, Vicie Kay Lynn McGhee of Dayton, TN and Roberta Lynn Everett (Brent) Middlebrooks of Dayton, TN; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several cousins and other family members and friends who all held a special place in her heart.
Pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Alhambra Shriners.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. EDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jimmy Jewell officiating. Burial will be in Rigsby Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. The arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. EDT and Wednesday from 12:00-2:00 p.m. EDT.
