Obituary of Henry Clenton Watson

   Henry C. Watson, age 82, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Tuesday, May 9, 2017.  He retired from the State of Tennessee, Department of Forestry, after fifty years of dedicated service.  He was a member of the Church of Christ.
   He was preceded in death by his father, Huey Winfield Watson; mother, Mima Lee (Fisher) Watson; brothers, Huey Alan "Rawhide" Watson and Glenn Greer "Doc" Watson; and sister, Hallie Watson.
   He is survived by his wife, Rachel J. (Walling) Watson; children, Janice (David) Mercer, Charles (Roxy) Watson, Mary Jane Watson and Clayton Watson, all of Pikeville, TN; grandchildren, Chris (Helaine) Mercer, Carrie Mercer (David) Samons, Tiffany Watson (Jimmy) Patmor, Brian Watson, Casey Troglin, Jason (Ashley) Troglin, Matthew (Jamie) Watson and Cody Watson; fourteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Mitchell "Shorty" Watson, John Watson, George Watson and Donnie (Paula) Watson; one sister, Illa Ann (Norman) Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Walling Cemetery.  Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.  The arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Pikeville, TN.  Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. CDT and Friday from 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m..
