Obituary of Luther Ray Pendergrass
Luther Ray Pendergrass, age 75, of Evensville, Tennessee, died Thursday, May 4, 2017. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harris Pendergrass and Elizabeth Hurd Pendergrass; sisters, Joy McRoy and Sarah Campbell; and brothers, Tony Price and Harris C. Pendergrass.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel K. Pendergrass of Evensville, TN; son, Ray Pendergrass of Greer, SC; daughter, Beth Pendergrass Davis of Rutherfordton, NC; three grandchildren, Samantha Dodson, Zach Pendergrass and Hannah Pendergrass; sisters, Marilee Debord of Auburndale, FL and Margaret Smith of Hixson, TN; and several nieces & nephews.
There will be a funeral service Monday at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. William R. Boyd, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Humble Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. The arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Monday from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CDT.
