Loyd DeBord, age 83, of Pikeville passed away Monday, October 10, 2016.
He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was also a county bus driver for 28 years in Bledsoe County and a life-long farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Virgil and Myrtle DeBord; brothers, Lankford (Ruth), Hobart, Martin and Harris (Betty) DeBord; and brother-in-law, Clay Narramore.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Martha Lou Brown DeBord; son, Darrell (Linda) DeBord; grandchildren, Heather (Jonny), Cassie (Andy) and Cody; great-grandchildren, Conner, Trinity, Kayne, Alex, Cole and Leeah; sister, Sue Narramore of Knoxville, Tn; sister-in-law, Doris DeBord; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday, October 12, at 10:00 a.m. CDT at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in DeBord Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. CDT at the funeral home and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
