Burma Brewer, age 75, of Pikeville died Tuesday, September 27, 2016.
She was a member of Griffith Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Hubert Brewer; parents, Roy and Ova Reece; brother, Arlis Reece; and sister, Geneva Anderson.
Survivors include her children Linda Brewer and John (Oni) Brewer; grandchildren Josh (Rachel) Brewer of Pikeville, Tyler (Kaitlyn) Brewer of Dayton, Jake (Rachel) Brewer of Pikeville, Ryan Turner, Gryffin Haverlandt, Braydden Brewer and Quincy Brewer; great-grandchildren, Brett, Jackson, Wesson and Liam; sisters, Jeanelle DeBord, Margaret Anderson, Marie Sapp and Erma Hale; brother, Gearald Reece; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday, October 1, at 10:00 a.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Paul Cagle and Bro. Jeff Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Beach Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Thursday, from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. CDT and Friday from 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Mrs. Brewer's great- grandchildren.
