Eugene "Bo" Prater, age 63, of Pikeville, TN passed away peacefully on August 30th, 2016 at his home.
An avid hunter and fisherman he is preceded in death by his mother Lula Belle Prater; and, father, Carlos Prater.
He is survived by two sisters; Katherine (Beacher) Bowman and Alene Walker of Pikeville, TN; three brothers, Jerry D. (Ann) Prater and Rayburn (Joyce) Prater of Spencer, TN, and Marvin "Hoss" Prater; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday, September 1, at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ricky McGowan officiating. Burial will be in Hitchcock Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. CDT and Thursday from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CDT.
