Edgar L. Gifford, age 80, of Pikeville, TN, died Sunday, August 21, 2016 at his home.
He was a member of Mt. Crest Church of God of Prophecy and was retired from Lazy Boy.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Jean Gifford; parents, Henry Raymond and Mayme Gifford; brother Henry Raymond Gifford, Jr., Charles T. Gifford; sisters Thelma Hitchcox, Judy Tucker, Rowena Gifford; and nephew Roger Dale London
Survivors include his Wife Ina Jean Gifford; sons, Jimmy L. (Anita) Gifford and Darrell (Deanna) Gifford; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marietta London, Evalene Shannon, Alvalene Holland, Linda Clark and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday, August 23, at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ken Norris officiating . Burial will be in Iron Hill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Monday, 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. CDT, Tuesday 2:00 p.m. - 9:00p.m. CDT and Wed. 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. CDT.
