Dorothy L. Swafford, age 78, of Crossville, TN, formerly of Pikeville, TN, passed away Saturday morning July 23, 2016 at her home. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by daughter, Linda S. Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Virgil Dwayne Swafford; son, Michael (Sheila) Swafford; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Campbell; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday 2:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Vaughn Dunn officiating. Burial in Worthington Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville. Family will receive friends Sunday 2:00-8:00 p.m. and Monday 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
