Christine Campbell, age 81, of Pikeville went home to be with the Lord Saturday, March 12, 2016. She was a member of West End Church of God and a cook at Brown's grocery for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Campbell, Sr.; grandchildren, Billy Saunders, Erica Walker and Gary Walker; and great-grandsons, Duane Boynton and Eli Campbell.
Survivors include five daughters, Brenda Pugh of Spring City, Trish (Gary) Johnson of Rocky Top, Shelby (Jeff) Saunders; Donna (David) Campbell Blankenship and Karen (John) Frady all of Pikeville; three sons, Jay (Sharon), Bruce (Dianne) and Dude (Donna) Campbell, all of Pikeville; 22 grandchildren; several great-grand and great-great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Brest of Dayton, OH; two brothers, Garland Early of Monterey and Phillip Early of Panama City, FL; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday, March 14, at 1:00 p.m. DST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Danny Lee and Rev. Gary Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Iron Hill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday until 1:00 p.m. DST.
