Essie P. Womack Higgins, age 92, of the Griffith Creek Community, took her heavenly flight Monday, August 31, 2015. She was surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by husband, Herbert Higgins; son, Don Higgins; parents Thomas and Clercie Blackwell Womack; 9 brothers, 3 sisters; grandchildren Ricky Wayne and Colleen Floyd; 1 great-grandchild, Natasha Higgins.
She is survived by son, Charles (Louise) Higgins; daughter, Kathleen (Tommy) Floyd; daughter-in-law, Emma Higgins; grandchildren, Renee (Gary) Miller, Loria (Gary) Bragg, Vince Floyd, Eva (Donald) Patterson, Don (Pete) (Felecia) Higgins, Dennis (Amanda) Floyd, Tim (Debbie) Higgins, Shannon (James) Haskew, Frank (Dawn) Higgins; 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 2, at 2:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bros. Danny Chance and Tony King officiating. Burial will be in the Griffith Creek Cemetery.
