Vernie Myers, age 85of Spencer, died Saturday, February 14, 2009 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband Victor Myers and son Donnie Myers.
Survivors include daughter June (Larry) Smith of Spencer; sons James, Charles and Ray Myers of Spcncer; Pete Myers and Bennie (Joyce) Myers, Cookeville; 10 grandchildren; brothers Amos and Ernest Mooneyham, Spencer; sisters Dovie Walker and Notie Ashley of McMinnville; Lola Ashley, Mary Jane Guy, Anna Lee Haston and Lydia Hodge all of Spencer. Services will be Monday at 1:00 pm CST at the Mooneyham Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery.
