Charles Ross "Red" McCloud, Jr., age 88 of Dayton,TN, formerly of Pikeville, died Friday, July 17, 2015. He was a member of Welsey Chapel United Methodist Church. Red was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in World War II and the Korean Wars.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Ross McCloud, Sr. and Lou McCloud; sisters, Madge Cagle, Jimbo Maloy, and twin sister, Josephine Oreto.
Survivors include his wife, Carleen McCloud, of Dayton, TN; daughters, Marsha McCloud, Evensville, TN, Kathleen (Ray) Schneider, Texas, Jane (Johnny) Parton, Evensville; sons, Kenneth McCloud, Evensville, Chales "Chuck" (Tissy) McCloud, Chatsworth, GA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister; Anna Grace Lewis, Pikeville.
Services will be Sunday, July 19 at 2:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Albert Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Staurday from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. CDT.
