Lowell H. Smith, age 92, of Pikeville, died Wednesday, July 15, 2015. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Lowell is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; parents, Willie J. and Liza Jane Smith; four brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include his daughter, Beverly (Eddie) Manus, of Pikeville; brother, Dewey (Janie) Smith, Dunlap; special friends Diane and Junior Whited, Kim and Paul Brown; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Lorene Townsend.
Services will be Saturday, July 18, at 3:30 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Min. Bradley Hargis and Bro. Howell Whited officiating. Burial will be in Collier Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.
