Jesse D. Holland age 89 of Dunlap, TN went to be with the Lord Saturday after noon January 31, 2009 in a Chattanooga hospital surrounded by his family. He was a member of the Dunlap Church of God and retired from Thomas and Son Construction Company after 29 years. He was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Randy Holland And Nolan Troglin; parents Cager and Kate Holland; sister Elsie Holland.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Bobbie Hitchcox Hollan; daughter, Brenda (Anthony) Patton; son, Windell (Delores) Holland; daughter-in-law Vickie Ball; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sonny Wilkes and Rev. Jerry Meciers officiating. Burial will be in the Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens.
