JoAnne Rigsby, age 68 of Pikeville, TN died Wednesday, January 28, 2009. She was a great mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved making things, crafts, sewing and working in the crops for the Jacksons. She was preceded in death by husband William Harrison Rigsby; great-granddaughter Taylor Nicole Dawn Pendergrass; parents Gilbert and Blanche Meseberg; brother Eudean Meseberg; sister Cheryl Sage.
Survivors include daughter Valinda (Donny) London, Pikeville; sons Terry (LuLu) Rigsby, California; Melvin (Debbie) Rigsby, Pikeville; grandchildren Steven and Janna London, Lanean Pendergrass, Vanessa and Justin Rigsby, Ethan Wagner, Summer Payne, Tabitha and Samantha Rigsby; sisters Gloria (Ronnie) Severson and Darla (Tom) Craig, both of California; brothers Delmer Meseberg and Gaylord Meseberg both of California; special friend Van Colvin.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. CST in the chapel with burial in Rigsby Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation is Thursday, 5-9 pm CST and Friday 9am-9pm CST.
