Lurie Johnson Jr., age 61, of Pikeville, TN, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at his home. He was of The Church of God faith. He was preceded in death by his son, Carl Junior Johnson; parents, Lurie and Mary Rose Louallen Johnson; grandson, Jacob Johnson; brother, Carl Johnson.
He is survived by his two sons, Herbert (Amanda) Johnson, of Gouverneur, NY, and Mathew Johnson; one daughter, Rebecca Johnson; several grandchildren; two brothers, Donnie and Jackie Johnson, both of Dunlap; several nieces and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 a.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Collier Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Thursday 4:00-9:00 p.m. CDT.
