Berlene Holland Pursley, age 66, of Dunlap, TN died Tuesday January 20, 2009 after a brief battle with Cancer. She was a member of the Old Cumberland Baptist Church and was retired from Layz Boy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Toby Pursley; son, Travis Holland; parents, James and Velma Daggett.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Kim (Carlos) Wilson, Dunlap, Darlene (Danny) Hendon, Pikeville; 4 sons, Terry Holland, Hamilton, GA, Bobby (Angie) Holland and Wayne (Connie) Holland, Pikeville; 2 step-Children, Charles Pursley, Dunlap and Angela Sweeny, Chattanooga; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Phyllis Riffle, Elyria, OH and Irene Phillips, Chickamauga, GA; 3 brothers, Jimmy Daggett, Pikeville, James Daggett, Chickamauga, GA and Willie Daggett, Elyria, OH; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Johnny Adcox and Bro. Glynn Love officiating. Burial will be in Collier Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
Arrangements by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00-9:00 p.m.CST and Friday from 9:00a.m.-9:00 p.m. CST.
