Sarah Jane Shannon Sullivan age 94 of Pikeville, TN died Friday January 9, 2009 in an area hospital. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by her husband Emmitt Sullivan; parents, Tommy and Molly Bowman Shannon; sisters, Sally and Molly Shannon Sullivan, Rosa Lee and Artie Shannon Jenkins; brother, Henry Shannon; nephews, Clyde, Billy, Howard, Vance Alan and Leonard Sullivan and Clifford Shannon; great nephew, Sgt. John Michall Sullivan.
She is survived by foster children, Johnny and Josephine Britt of Pikeville; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. CST in the chapel with Minister Tony Britt officiating. Burial will be in Collier Cemetery. Visitation will begin 12 noon until 9 P.M. CST Saturday.
