Dr. Henry Franklin Staggs of Brentwood, passed away at the age of 58 on the morning of January 5, 2009. He was born November 18, 1950 in Chattanooga, TN. He graduated from Lipscomb University in 1972 and UT Pharmacy School in 1976. Henry worked as a pharmacist for 32 years. He is preceded in death by his daughter Ivy Allison Staggs; parents Drs. William and Betty Staggs; brother James “Jim” Staggs. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Greta W. Staggs; two daughters, Wendy Cummings (Brian) of South Carolina, and Lauren of Brentwood; brothers Dr. William Staggs, Jr. (Judy), Dr. Stephen Staggs (Lisa), and sister Penny Tenpenny (Nick), all of Nashville. Graveside services will be held at Collier Cemetery, Dunlap, TN on Wednesday January 7 at 2pm. Visitation with family will be held at Brentwood Hills Church of Christ, Nashville on Thursday, January 8 at 6pm, followed by a memorial service at 7pm.
