Billy Joe Dodson, Jr., age 49, of Spencer, TN, died May 10, 2015. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Billy is survived by his wife, Vanessa Dodson; daughter, Toshia Dodson; son, Nathaniel Dodson, all of Spencer, TN; grandson, Caston Dodson; stepchildren, April (Jon) Blaylock, Sparta, TN; Christopher Cope, Knoxville, TN; stepgrandchildren, Larry Blaylock, Aaliyah Blaylock; parents, Billy Joe (Laura Faye) Dodson, Sr., Anna (J.L.) Kirby, all of Spencer; siblings, Wayne Roberts, Sandy (Melvin) Mayfield, all of Spencer, JoAnn (Darryl) Hensley, Quebeck, TN, Roxie (Charles) Watson, Spencer; stepsister, Tina Asberry; stepbrothers, John Kirby, Malcolm Frazier, and the late Jason Frazier; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be Thursday, May 14, at 1:00 p.m. CDT at Mooneyham Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Sullivan and Bro. Lynn Potter officiating. Burial will be in Graveyard Ridge Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be at the church beginning Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. CDT.
