Susie Dyer, age 83 of Pikeville, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008. She was a member of the Christian House of Prayer and Worship Center. She was preceded in death by husband Newt Dyer; grandsons Jackie Shearlin and Dilan King; parents Bob and Tish Watson.
Survivors include children Bertie Sherlin; James (Kathy ) Dyer; Jolly Jo (Sam) Dyer; Ruby ( Bob) Dickey; Robert (Wanda) Dyer;Avery (Peggy) Dyer; Mary Ann (Robert) Simmons; Johnny (RaDonna) Dyer all of Pikeville; Kitty (J D) Calvert of Spencer; Lois (Curt) Kimsey of Crossville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Lucy Davis, Pikeville; brother Tom Watson, Pikeville; several nieces and nephews. Services will be Saturday at 12:00 pm CST at the Christian House of Prayer and Worship Center with Rev. Hubert Thurman officiating. Burial will be in Watson Chapel Cemetery.
