Obituary of Jake Edward Wooden

Jake Edward Wooden, age 81, of Pikeville, TN died Monday, March 9, 2015. He was a member of New Harmony Freewill Baptist Church. Jake was a lifetime farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny G. and Mary Edna Wooden; brothers, Johnny Junior and Jason Wooden; sister, Evelyn Cates. Survivors include his wife Alma Wooden, of Pikeville, sons, Jackie (Darlene) Wooden, Dayton, Eddie Wooden, Phillip Wooden, both of Pikeville; daughter, Rhonda (Wayne) Wilhoit, La Follette, TN; eight grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Aaron Wooden, Dayton, Bucky (Peggy) Wooden, Pikeville; sisters, Gail (Jim) Jarvis, Ohio, Patsy (Lynn) Kelly, Pikeville, Martha (Bobby) Trotter, Dayton; several nieces and nephews. Services will be Thursday at 1:00pm CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jimmy Jewell officiating. Burial will be in Rigsby Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
