Edna Catherine Harrod, age 81, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015. She was a member of Fredonia Free Holiness Church and a passionate fund raiser for Fredonia Volunteer Fire Department. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Roscoe Sweazy; mother, Annie Edith Reynolds Sweazy; three sisters, Minnie Ethel Kimball, Carrie May Sageser and Margie Ann Smith; two brothers, Edward Earl Sweazy and Garnett Ray Sweazy.
She is survived by two daughters, Vickie Sloan, Pleasureville, KY and Kim (Eddie) Walker, Dunlap; five grandchildren, Janene Jones, Devin Sloan, Michael Sloan, Stephanie Lance, and Kendra Walker; five sisters, Doris Tindle, Louisville, KY, Vena Settles, Rineyville, KY, Mary Hughes, Bloomfield, KY, Martha Riley, Bloomfield, KY, Pam Anderson, Shepherdsville, KY; brother, Timmy Cheek, Bloomfield, KY.
Funeral services will be held Friday 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bruce Corvin and Bro. Mike Rigsby officiating. Burial will be in Camp Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Fredonia Volunteer Fire Department. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Thursday 4:00-9:00 p.m. CST.
