Floid VanWinkle, age 71 of Spencer, died Thursday, November 27, 2008. He was a Christian man. Preceding him in death were his parents Brown and Rose Lee VanWinkle ; brothers, Lonis, Calvin, Earl, and Thurman VanWinkle.
Survivors include wife Carolyn VanWinkle, Spencer; sister Mamie (Glenn) Guy, Sparta; brothers Robert (Sharon) Vanwinkle, Cecil (Bonnie) VanWinkle both of Spencer; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Sunday at 1:00 pm CST at the Lonewood Baptist Church with Elders James Wright and Joe Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the Lonewood Cemetery.
