Iva Marie Williams Bickford, born on September 23, 1927 in Dunlap, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at her home in Rossville, GA. She was a very strong God loving woman and faithful to her church and its members at Rossville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Bickford; her brother, Cecil Williams; sister, Velma L. Holland.
She is survived by her brothers, Franklin (Henrietta), Grady Sr. (Phyllis), and Thomas R. (Priscilla) Williams; also several close and loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Minister Jack James officiating. Burial will be in Walling Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made in her memory to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Friday 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday 11:00 a.m. CST until time of service.
