Obituary of Thomas Bickford

Thomas W. Bickford, age 73, formerly of Bledsoe County passed away Saturday November 15, 2008 at his home in Rossville, GA. He served in the United States Army from 1951- 1954. He was a long time member of Rossville Church of Christ and retired from J.C. Penney. He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Myrtle Bickford; brother Bill Harwood.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marie W. Bickford; three sisters Johnny Gant, Pisgah, AL, Frances (Norman) Davis and Lila (Tom) Brady Pikeville; many loving family members and close friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Jack James and Don Mash officiating. Burial will be in the Walling Cemetery. Arrangements are by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. In lieu of flower contributions can be made to Hospice of Chattanooga or the Diabetes Association.
