Ranzie Mitchell Clendenen age 88 of Pikeville, TN died Saturday November 15, 2008. He was a member of the Church of Christ at Mt. Vernon and a US Army veteran serving during WWII. Preceded in death by his wife Almetta Clendenen, a son, Avery Clendenen and a grandson, Travis Clendenen.
He is survived by one son, Arnie Clendenen of Pikeville and one daughter, Bernette Seals of Bennett, NC; four grandchildren, Lavaughn and Tracy Seals, Lydia Barger and Penny West and several great-grandchildren
Funeral service will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. CST in the chapel with Dale Barger and Ricky McGowan officiating. Burial in Hitchcox cemetery. Visitation will begin Sunday 3-9 p.m. CST.
