Arlis Simmons, age 79 of Pikeville, TN Died Tuesday Nov.25, 2014 at his home. He met no strangers and was a friend to everyone he met.
He was preceded in death by parents Sherman and Irene Simmons and brothers Joe and James Simmons.
Survivors include sister Jamie Dunn, Pikeville; sister- in-law Willene Simmons; a good friend Waymon Ferguson and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Services will be Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. The burial will be in Blackburn Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Saturday from 2-9pm CST.
