Cathy Padgett Hart Bradford, age 66, of McDonough, GA passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at NHC Health Care. She was a former member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church in Lake City, GA and Bethany Baptist Church in McDonough, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace "Mit" Bradford.
She is survived by her parents, Pete and Dot Padgett; children, Tara (Joey) Powell, Ken (Kim) Hart, and Tammie (Larry) Akin; brother, Dan (Bev) Padgett; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many other family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014, 3:00 p.m. EST at Thomas Scroggs Funeral Home in Morrow, GA with Rev. R. Gregory Meadows officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 86 US 127 Taft Hwy, Signal Mountain, TN 37377. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Saturday 1:00-3:00 p.m. EST.
