Harley Martin, age 84, of Signal Mt., TN went to be with the Lord Thursday morning October 23, 2008. He will be greatly missed by his wife; sons and Family.
He worked 38 years with Brown Brothers Construction, was a member of the Masons, Scottish Rite; Shrine and the Red Fez Club. He was a founding member of the Lone Oak Community Center and was preceded in deathg by mother, Opal Griffith; step-brothers, Dillard and Willard Griffith; step-sisters, Lucille Moore and Pearl Mayes.
Survivors include his wife, Johnnie; sons, Ed (Marilyn) Martin; David (Ruby) Martin; grandson Bryan Martin (Tata); granddaughter, Robin Bone (Jonathon); great grandchildren, Laura Leigh, Braden and Logan. Graveside services will be held Saturday 12:00 p.m. EDT in the Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Steven Granger officiating. Arrangements by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap.
The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. EDT Friday.
