Obituary of AWF3 Nathan Ross Sartin

AWF3 Nathan Ross Sartin, age 28, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away Wednesday, October 8th, 2014. A native of Whitwell, TN, he was stationed at Naval Air Station Oceana as a part of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Five-Six. He was a member of Sulphur Springs UMC. He attended London Bridge Baptist Church in Virginia Beach. He was active with Make-A-Wish Foundation. He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Luther and Lavada Kirkendoll, Ray and Eula Sartin, Carl and Freddie Ryan and Lillie and Arthur Bice; grandmother, Roberta Ryan. He is survived by parents, Terry and Donna Sartin; brothers, Nick, Ben and Jake Sartin; sister, Melissa (Donnie) Pell; niece, Maddie Pell; nephews, Eli, Stephen, Thomas Pell; grandfather, Conroy Ryan; grandparents, Margie and Ralph Sartin. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 2:00 p.m. CDT at the Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Cecil Baxter officiating. Burial will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
