Virgie Robins Swafford age 75 of Pikeville died Friday October 3, 2008 in an area hospital. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband Glenn W. Swafford; parents, Edgar and Maude Robins; three brothers, Clayton, James and Cleo Robins; two sisters, Viola Robins and Ida Day.
She is survived by two sons, Gary (Kathy) Swafford of Pikeville and Randy Swafford of Chattanooga and one daughter, Kim (Elio) Zeppa of Riverview, MI; grandchildren, Bryan Swafford, Melanie (Ethan) Loyd, Will Swafford, Gabriel and Chris Zeppa; great-grandchildren, Bailey and Samantha Swafford; three brothers, Tommy Robins of Norfolk, Virginia; Clyde Robins and J.D. Robins both of Crossville and one sister, Reba Boniole.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. CDT in the chapel. Burial in TY Swafford cemetery. Visitation will begin Sunday 2:00 until 9:00 p.m. CDT.
