Eva Marriott Scarbrough, age 91 of Pikeville, passed away on Wednesday September 24, 2014. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 66. She was renowned for her delicious cinnamon rolls.
She is preceded in death by two husbands, Houston Johnson and Milton Scarbrough.
Survivors include two sons, Barry (Anita) and Charles (Frankie) Johnson; four daughters, Peggy (Gary) Patton; Liz (Mitchell) Turner; Debbie (Donnie) Pursley; all of Dunlap; Cathy Cox, Pikeville; eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren; three brothers, John (Eileen), Richard (Joyce), and Stanley (Rita) Marriott, all of Bedford, England.
Services will be Saturday, September 27, at 11am CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Dennis Smith officiating. Burial will be in Pikeville Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Friday, September 26 from 4-8pm CDT at the funeral home.
