Norma Lee Essex, age 78, of Spencer died September 19, 2008. She was preceded in death by son Curtis Ray Essex.
Survivors include husband, Curtis Essex, Spencer; sons Michael Earl Essex, Nashville, Stephen Wayne Essex, Gatlinberg; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be at the Chattanooga National Cemetery Monday, September 22 at 1:00 pm CDT. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to TN ARMY MARS, Sue Cower, 210 Mimosa Lane, Crossville, Tn 38572. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, Tn. Visitation will be Monday, September 22, 9-11am at Putnam-Reed Funeral Home.
