Duane Allan Carr, age 46, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 at his home. He was a member of Ewtonville Baptist Church and had a strong faith in Jesus Christ. He was employed by Norfolk Southern Railroad, was a huge supporter of Sequatchie County Football and enjoyed coaching Little League for several years. He was preceded in death by his father, Dwain Carr; maternal grandparents, James and Geneva Kilgore; paternal grandparents, Benton and Dean Carr.
He is survived by his daughter, Lindsay Carr; son, Gage Carr; mother, Mildred Carr; sister, Melissa (Bud) Carr Rosson; one brother, Shane (Meagan) Kilgore, all of Dunlap; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday 2:00 p.m. CDT at Ewtonville Baptist Church with Bro. Brian Kearns officiating. Burial will be in Condra Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Saturday 4:00-9:00 p.m. CDT.
