Charles E. Lewis Sr., age 67 of Dunlap. TN died Friday afternoon August 22, 2008 at his home. He served as Constable of the second district. He was a member of Dunlap Lodge # 693 F&A.M. and Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 78. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; two sisters.
He is survived by his Martha Tribble Lewis; daughter Kimra Lewis, Rhea County; two sons Anthony Lewis, Rhea County and Eddie Lewis, U.S. Air Force, Clovis, NM; nine grandchildren; several nieces; nephews and cousins. The family requests please no flowers. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Sequatchie County Cancer Support Network or the charity of your choice.
Memorial services will be held Sunday at 4:30 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Swanner officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfanilyfh.com. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Arrangements are by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap, TN.
