Thelma Hitchcox, age 85, of Pikeville died Wednesday, July 2, 2014.
She was preceded in death by husband Benton Hitchcox; parents Raymond and Mayme Gifford; siblings Raymond Gifford, Jr., Rowena Gifford, Charles Gifford, and Judy Tucker.
Survivors include children Leon (Gail) Hitchcox, Pikeville; Mayme (Randall) Phillips, Dunlap; Charles Hitchcox, Pikeville; grandchildren Randy (Tiffany) Phillips; Benji Phillips; Micah Hitchcox; Sarah (Ben) Parrish; great grandchildren Brad & Bella Phillips; sisters Marietta London, Evalene Shannon, Alvalene Holland, Linda Clark; brother Edgar (Jean) Gifford, all of Pikeville; several nieces and nephews.
