Mae Hitchcock Land, age 93, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014. She was a life long member of Flat Mountain Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arcie Land; parents, John and Sissie Boyd Hitchcock; five sisters, and two brothers.
She is survived by son, Thomas Ray (Walta Mae) Land, Dunlap; two grandsons, Jonathan and Jason (Sarah) Land; great-grandson, Mason Land; two sisters, Violet Hobbs, Chattanooga, and Dot Smith, Dunlap; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday 2:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Johnny Jones officiating. Burial will be in Camp Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Saturday 3:00-8:00 p.m. CDT.
